The GFS Marketplace 400 is a NASCAR Nextel Cup race held at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan.

First introduced as the Yankee 600, a 600-mile race in 1969, it has been a 400-mile race since becoming the Yankee 400 in 1970. The 400-mile race covers 200 laps. Pepsi was a co-sponsor of the race for the years of 1998 to 2002, in conjunction with DeVilbiss, a 1997 sponsor. From 1999-2001 it was the Pepsi 400 presented by Meijer, and the next year became the Pepsi 400 Presented by Farmer Jack. The GFS Marketplace 400 is preceded by the AMD at The Glen and followed by the Sharpie 500.
The 2006 winner was Matt Kenseth, who followed Jeremy Mayfield's 2005 win. In 2004 Greg Biffle won the race, after Ryan Newman took it home in 2003. The Michigan International Speedway is a tri-oval superspeedway in southeastern Michigan. It is noted as one of the premier raceways, due to its high banking (turns are 18 degrees) and wide racing surface. It was called the Michigan Speedway from 1996 to 2000, and is a 2 mile long track.
